As a Specialist lawyer for labor law Björn Lange advises and represents employers, executives, and employees in all areas of employment law, particularly in dismissal protection law, fixed-term employment law, the drafting of employment and termination agreements, works constitution law (including negotiations on reconciliation of interests and social plans), and in connection with restructuring and outsourcing.

The JUVE Handbook (2018/19 to 2024/2025 editions) lists Björn Lange as a frequently recommended lawyer. In addition, the editors of Focus magazine have included Björn Lange in their list of recommended “top lawyers” in the field of labor law since the 03/2019 issue “Das ist Ihr Recht 2019” (That is your right 2019) and have continued to do so until today (2024). There are further awards for schlatter.law in the field of labor law: The magazine “stern” included schlatter.law in its list of recommendations for “Best Law Firms” in the legal field of “Labor Law (for Employees)” in 2022 and 2023. In addition, schlatter.law has been listed by the magazine “brand eins/thema” in the category “Best Commercial Law Firms” in the field of “Labor Law (Representation of Companies)” from 2022 to the present (2024).

In addition to the Labour law Björn Lange is also active in the field of corporate law. Here, he advises on the establishment of corporations and partnerships, on the appointment and dismissal of board members and managing directors, and on the drafting and termination of their employment contracts. He also advises medium-sized companies and their owners on the purchase and sale of businesses.

Another focus of his work is (professional) Sports law. Björn Lange specializes in sports labor law, player transfer law, and arbitration law. In the field of professional sports, his clients include clubs and their affiliated corporations, as well as officials, coaches, and players from the 1st Bundesliga to the 3rd league, as well as player advisors and player agencies.

Björn Lange is a member of the working groups Labour law and Sports law in the German Bar Association and member of the International Sport Lawyers Association (ISLA).
