Christian Schröder completed his law studies at the University of Mannheim. While studying, Mr. Schröder gained several years of experience at a law firm specializing in insolvency administration that operates throughout Germany. Mr. Schröder completed his legal clerkship at the Mannheim Regional Court with placements in Heidelberg and Frankfurt, among other places. Since 2015, Mr. Schröder has been working for Schlatter as a lawyer in the areas of general commercial law, banking and capital market law, and insolvency law, among others.
Since beginning his career as a lawyer, Christian Schröder has been working in Bankruptcy law active. Mr. Schröder advises companies, business owners, and managing directors throughout Germany, ranging from optimizing contract drafting from an insolvency law perspective, to reviewing their own application obligations and representing their interests in insolvency proceedings, to defending against avoidance and liability claims.
As a specialist lawyer for Banking law and capital market law, Mr. Schröder also successfully represents financial service providers throughout Germany in defending against claims for damages in court proceedings, particularly in the areas of equity investments, prospectus liability, advisor and broker liability, and asset management.
