Jürgen Behrendt joined the firm in 1999 after completing his studies and legal training in Heidelberg and has been a partner since 2002. During his studies, he worked with Peter Hommelhoff at the Institute for German and European Corporate and Commercial Law at the University of Heidelberg.

As a specialist lawyer for administrative law, he represents numerous cities and municipalities in the region, as well as companies and private individuals, in matters relating to public construction planning and building regulations law and related areas of administrative law.

Other areas of focus in his work include commercial tenancy law and municipal law. As co-author of Beck's online commentary, he comments on regulations in municipal and district ordinances.

He is a member of the preliminary examination committee of the Bar Association for admission as a specialist lawyer for administrative law and a lawyer member of the Baden-Württemberg Lawyers' Court.
