Mr. Fürniß studied in Heidelberg, Salzburg and Berlin. He received his doctorate in China on a topic of international law related to Intellectual Property Rights (IP). After his time as a legal trainee, during which Mr. Fürniß worked for the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology in Berlin, he worked in the group legal departments of TUI AG and KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA, one of the world's leading seed companies.

Based on his experience, Mr. Fürniß mainly advises companies in the fields of intellectual property law, competition and antitrust law as well as international contract law.

Before joining SCHLATTER, Mr. Fürniß was Head of Transition Management at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA and was responsible for the implementation of a new, central administrative structure in the areas of law, human resources, finance, purchasing, controlling and IT. He therefore also has in-depth knowledge and practical experience in the in-house management of restructuring processes and supports the SCHLATTER team with his knowledge also in the practice group "Restructuring/M&A".
